i am a sophmore in highschool and i play contralto clarinet for our performing band, alto sax for jazz and clarinet for marching band :]
ive been playing clarinet since middle school (7th) and i picked up alto sax + contralto clarinet this year :] if you are unfamiliar with the contralto clarinet, it is similar to the clarinet in many ways except it is larger, is in a dif pitch (clarinet, bass clarinet and contrabass clarinet are in b flat but contralto is in e flat) a lower sound (perfect 5th under the bass clarinet, which is what makes it alto/in e flat)
